Daniel Murphy
Executive Director
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Daniel Murphy comes to the
Alliance from his previous role as Executive Director of the Pitkin Avenue Business Improvement District where under his leadership, the BID engaged in major partnerships between the public and private sectors, transportation improvements, merchant organizing, community events, supplemental sanitation and the completion of a capital parks project within the district.

Daniel considers the opportunity to lead the Alliance for Coney Island and continue improving conditions for the neighborhood's small businesses, visitors and year round residents to be the big brass ring of public service.
Cindy Vourderis
Marketing, Events
& Public Relations Manager
Cindy wears many hats within the organization. She is charged with overseeing all our marketing efforts, sponsorships, promotions and programming as well as being the Public Relations Manager for the Alliance for Coney Island. With her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, creative imagination and "get the job done" attitude, she has earned a reputation for excellence. A native Brooklynite, her many years spent in Coney Island has given her a deep appreciation for the history, and is passionate about the revitalization of the community.
